Ingredients for Making Spiced Fruit Tea
- Orange to taste
- Lemon to taste
- Tangerine to taste
- Fresh mint to taste
- Star anise to taste
- Ginger to taste
- Cinnamon to taste
- Honey to taste
- Water to taste
- Main Ingredients: Orange, Lemon, Mandarin
- Portion 3-4
Kitchen knife, cutting board, kettle.
Making spiced fruit tea:
Step 1: chop the fruit.
Rinse the fruit with scalding in hot water, then dry and cut into thick slices.
Peel the ginger, cut into slices as well.
Fold the fruits and ginger in a large kettle in which you will brew the drink.
Step 2: add the spices.
Add spices to taste, as well as mint for freshness and honey for sweetness.
Step 3: brew spicy fruit tea.
Pour all the ingredients with hot (non-boiling) water and gently squeeze the fruit slices with the back of a spoon. Close the kettle lid and leave the brewed drink on 10-15 minutes.
If necessary, more honey can be added to the already prepared tea.
Step 4: serve spiced fruit tea.
Serve spiced fruit tea separately to keep yourself warm and cheer up. It is tastiest hot, but even at room temperature the drink will not lose its warming property.
