pan, slotted spoon, paper towels, grater

Step 1: peel the shrimp.

It is best to take fresh shrimp, as their taste is better than cooked, but if there is no choice, take those that are. Peel the shrimp, remove the gut from the back.
After cleaning, salt the shrimps a little and set them aside for now.

Step 2: prepare the potato batter.

Mix wheat flour with starch and salt. Gradually add ice water while stirring. Until you get a thick creamy consistency. Then add the grated potatoes. Shuffle.

Step 3: fry the shrimp in a potato batter.

Heat enough vegetable oil in a saucepan. Take the shrimp by the tail and dip them well into the batter, then hold it over the batter to allow excess to drain, and then dip in hot vegetable oil. Lower the shrimp gradually so that they do not immediately sink to the bottom and do not stick to it.

Toast for 2-3 minutes to a beautiful golden color.

Step 4: serve the shrimp in potato batter.

Serve the shrimps in the potato batter warm while they are still crispy. You can put them in a salad, or you can serve with sauce.
Enjoy your meal!
