French fries with garlic and coriander sauce, a treat! Unfortunately I did not find fresh coriander, I replaced it with dry and green parsley, delicious!

  • 6 large potatoes
  • For the sauce:
  • a large clove of garlic
  • a bunch of green parsley / green coriander
  • a tablespoon of olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • dried coriander

RECIPE PREPARATION Two sweet potatoes:

Peel the potatoes and cut them into 2 cm cubes, then fry them. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce, mixing with the blender the cleaned garlic, greens, oil and spices. At the end add a little cold water. Sprinkle the sauce over the french fries.

Cake with cream and peaches

If it's the weekend we do something sweet, right? :) I propose this delicious cake with lots of whipped cream).

  • 5 eggs

Bulgur - 11 culinary recipes

Bulgar recipes - or how to cook like Turkish :) recipes with bulgur and germinated wheat.

Bulgur is made from whole durum wheat, partially steamed three times, dried, peeled and crushed coarsely or finely ground. Therefore, we can find finely or coarsely ground bulgur, but also white or brown.
Bulgur It is rich in iron, phosphorus, magnesium and vitamin B and is prepared quickly by simple rehydration or boiling. It is the base for oriental national specialties like kebbe, Tabbouleh. Bulgur can be accompanied by raisins, chickpeas or can be used in meatballs. In Tunisia, it is used as a kind of couscous, and in Armenia you can find bulgur pilaf, which is served with kebab.

Moldovan Pasta

Being bean season, I thought this post would be helpful. Beans are one of the most nutritious vegetables, being rich in protein, starch, carbohydrates and mineral salts: iron, calcium and sulfur.

The beans are washed in several cold waters, the heads are cleaned and they are broken into 2-3 cm long pieces.
Peeled onions are washed and finely chopped.

In a saucepan (I use a large pan with a lid, it has a volume of 3 liters) put the oil, a cup of warm water and leave it on the fire until it starts to boil. Add onion, cover pan with lid and simmer.

When the onion has softened, add the beans, mix lightly but well, add salt to taste and enough hot water to cover the contents.

Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring occasionally.

If the beans are not cooked enough but the liquid has evaporated, hot water is added until the beans reach the desired consistency (it did not happen to me but it is good to know).

When the beans have boiled, add the thin broth with hot water or the tomatoes and finely chopped greens.

Let it boil for a few more minutes (the beans taste like tomatoes and greens).
Serve either cold or hot with garlic sauce and polenta or salad you like (indicated by cucumber salad).
